Lavanta Panorama Cafe Ortahisar

View point for Ortahisar Castle from this cafe is great. Apart from the great views of the castle and the Greek houses on the hill below. The best part of the cafe is the pistachio coffee - served in a special cup. Highly recommended - but be warned it’s sweet!

Super nice location with lots of instagram spots. The owner their helped with the pigeons to make nice photos possible. We drank a delicious pistachio coffee in the sun.

We had a few hours before sunset so we decided to stop over at this cafe which had stunning views of the landscape. I tried the pistachio coffee which was amazing and we were having a great time. Just after sunset when the cafe was closing, my daughter left her phone and by the time we realised, the cafe was closed. Having searched everywhere, we couldn't find and she was obviously distraught. We were leaving Cappadocia the following day, and decided to come back early in the morning to see if anyone had found it. To our delight, the phone had been found by a member of staff the previous evening, and they even posted it on their instagram to identify the owner. Thank you to all the staff at Lavanta Panorama Cafe. If you are visiting Cappadocia, visit this gem in Ortahisar for their amazing hospitality, amazing people and incredible views. We look forward to visiting you again next year!

An amazing place with a perfect view in cappadocia. The Turkish coffee is a “must” in this place. The view is simply awesome, the attention is vey good. There is a girl taking pictures, just look a the camera and for 5usd you’ll have a nice souvenir.

The place had so many people, and most of them were taking photos outside the coffee place. The main thing to try here is the pistachio coffee. The way they are preparing it is nice. The taste was delicious. It was a nice experience. Keep up the good work.

A really great place to admire the landscape of Capadoccia as it offers a panoramic view over the town of Ortahisar and its castle. The place is very well set up, with large tables and chill out carpet zones where people can lay to drink their coffee. It is very welcoming for groups. We tried the pistachio coffee as the waiter recommended. It was very nice and rich in flavor, and it was served in the traditional terracota cups. It was a bit overpriced, but I guess you also pay for the privileged view.
